Brigit Cook is a singer, songwriter, actress, and performer from Loudoun County, Virginia. She has been an integral part of the Performing Arts Department at Flint Hill school for many years, having participated in 12 theatrical productions and 26 choral, a capella, and vocal productions. She performs her music frequently at paid gigs and other events, such as fundraisers. She has played at Old 690 Brewing Company, Black Draft Distillery, the Farm at Broadrun, Walk 4 Mountains fundraiser against breast cancer, and many more. Brigit has been President of the Theatre Club and Founding President of the International Thespian Society Troupe, Major Minors Student Director, and a leader in her Choir. Brigit was nominated for Virginia Governor’s School for vocal performance, received the Flint Hill Performing Arts Award in 2022, and the Flint Hill Fine Arts Award for Excellence in Vocal Performance in 2023. Her most notable theatrical roles have been as Rosie Mulligan in Mamma Mia!, Mrs. White in Clue, multiple leads in Working: A Musical as Grace and Teresa, as well as supporting roles in Radium Girls as Irene Rudolph and Mrs. Fryer. She was a student director of the One Acts in both 2020 and 2022, and a performer in the 2020 and 2023 productions. Brigit will be continuing her performance and academic journey at Hamilton College and beyond.
